This is Jack’s first drum lesson. By comparsion, we can see the rapid improvement he has made in a short period of time. By the time he reaches middle school, he will be able to play professionally with my guidance and instructional method.

At the young age of five,  Jack has been taking drum lessons from me  once a week.  What’s remarkable about Jack is his ability to comprehend basic music fundamentals at this tender age.  He’s able to dictate basic musical notation and count as he plays.  I ‘ve started working on basic song forms with Jack.  He’s now learning how use the cymbals to mark different parts of a song.  I’ve also taught him how to implement basic drum-fills into his playing.  Jack is truly a gifted student of Music.
